Canadian Comity Applicants: Your name must be registered on the Canadian APEC Registers to be considered for comity licensure in the state of Nevada.

Nevada requires passage of the NCEES 16-hour Structural Exam, or a Board approved equivalent, prior to consideraration for licensure.
NOTE: Nevada does not issue temporary licenses; you may not practice engineering in Nevada until your license is issued.

NOTE: All items required for licensure in the state of Nevada must be in 30 days prior to a scheduled Board meeting for your application to be reviewed. Incomplete application will be delayed and not submitted for the Board’s review until complete.

If your application is reviewed at the Board meeting, you will receive EMAIL notification of the Board’s action on your application the week after the Board meeting. If you are approved by the Board, included in the email will be a multiple choice examination on our Nevada Laws. You will be required to pass this exam and submit a pro-rated license fee before your Nevada license will be issued. Your email will include the pro-rated license fee amount due.
It is very important to read and understand Nevada’s statutes and regulations. Chapter 625 contains necessary requirements to being approved and licensed by the Board.
